Struggling is an understatement. This team just isn't that good.

It’s really average competition. MSU is bottom sec team and Florida is over hyped as much as we are

I’m so sick of hearing about early in the season. This is SEC play. This team can’t hit, pitch, or play the field.

Team is very reminiscent of the 2020 football team so far, except the baseball team doesn't have covid to blame.

A lot of the big name recruits are highly overrated. On top of that, this team has little to no heart or swagger. They mostly just go through the motions.

Batting .232 as a squad! HR help a bit but in the final analysis they as a team have to start hitting better! Tigers are leaving too many people dying on base!

LSU is going to take 2/3 from Arkansas. This team will be focused beginning tomorrow night. Backs are against the wall. A lot to prove !

What is the minimum number of series we have to win to get into post season?

You left out Herring who has lowered his ERA from 9+ to 3.7. Pitching about 3 innings vs Florida on Friday and no runs and I think only a couple of hits and 1 walk.

I want to say an SEC team got in with 13 wins but I could be wrong.

Ole Miss 2022, who went on to win the national title, was 14-16 in conference play, and the committee said they were one of the last teams to make it in the field.

Meh, they are about league average. In the best league.
But i do find it funny how one bounce of the ball saturday night totally drives this narrative

One flip of a coin play and we get swept by MSU. Got 10 runned twice. “Oh but it would’ve been different had Bingham caught the ball” So you mean the plays that happen in the game, end up determining the outcome?!?!?! No way!! Stop with the what ifs.

Agree 100%. Maybe people don't realize that there is not an NCAA rule that if an error/bad play occurs, you are actually allowed to get the next person out. So the next guy hits a homer...big damn deal!!!! The pitcher should have kept the next guy from hitting a homer...problem solved. Your "what ifs" is spot on!

Also, LSU has gotten more than it share of similar type events...opponent doesn't turn a double play to end an inning...batter is hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, etc, etc, etc

It depends more on league standings. Top 8 teams this year will be regional hosts, with Top 4 nationals seeds.
