To put this into perspective, Blake Dean's reemergence over the last couple of weeks is much bigger positive than the losses this week are a negative.

I just wanted to say that Dean is knocking the cover off the ball. Had a couple lineouts right at people today, he is hitting at least 3 balls per game really hard.

Blake Dean's reemergence
Ever since he started to hit better; Lemahieu, mitchell, and Gibbs have tailed off a little bit.

Well, we only need 4 extra innings after 9 to tie this up at this rate!

WTF is wrong w/ Gibbs? I was there Friday, and it was more of the fact the poor guy couldn't get a break; however, this is getting out of hand. How much longer do we wait on Gibbs?

The selection committee also cannot overlook a series loss to a bad team vs. a good team as easily.

I thought we won the series with UGA.

He's good behind the plate so he doesn't have to be replaced really. Ochinkco could get behind the plate for him and you could put Haydel on first but hopefully Gibbs just comes around like Schimpf and Dean did. Maybe he needs to be benched though for a game or so like Dean got.

To do what? When he is hitting, that's a luxury, he's a great defensive catcher, its a position that you sacrifice offense if necessary.

Gibbs is a great hitter for being a catcher. He'll pick it up some.
