Clearly out. Ump ready to go home

oh well all i know is that Fraley needs to go lock himself in a batting cage for that pitiful effort, 0-7

One of those calls, had we been the home team, it probably goes our way.

The angle is right above home plate.
not sure of a better angle than that.

I think the dude was out, but so what. Mew had the chance. Live to play again.

I agree he probably didn't touch, but its close. You know how they are in other sports about overturning calls. It has to be absolutely sure.
All that said, I wish we at least had the option to try to challenge it.

Pap was blocking the plate without the ball as well. Could've been called for that.

He basically beat the throw to the plate. The ump will give the benefit of the doubt to the runner in that situation 9/10. Similar to how if the defense makes a great play they get the benefit of the doubt on close plays at first.
We should have just taken care of business in the top of the inning.

Thought you could block the plate as long as you were making a play on the ball which he was doing.

Hope Kentucky hangs on to beat Vamdy

That call is hard to support.
No, it really wasn't that close when he doesn't touch the plate.
A bang bang timing call is close and tough, but this really wasn't.

I thought you had to have the ball

State runner never touched homeplate on that last supposed score! He was OUT! Miss. State did NOT win that game! Ump was looking right at it and blew the call. They gotta live with the truth that they did not win; level of their integrity is dirt low if they don't admit it at least to themselves. I hate cheaters & cheating!

I'm not sure about college, but in the MLB if you are making a play on the ball you can get in the runners way.

That rainout against Georgia might be big at the end of the season. That was a lost win.
