I pick my friends wisely! He's got a brother named Jack who turns water into whisky.

Really? That sure of it? Ask Ole Miss fans about premature Omaha reservations.

Your are correct. OM has been 1 win away a couple of times at home and it doesn't happen for them!

doesn't for vandy either. they are the ole miss of the east. iirc vandy has been the #1 overall seed twice and didn;t make it either time. i know they were the #1 seed a few years ago when they had price and didn't even make it out of their regional

Omaha's a tough ticket. No free rides. It takes a special mentality to get there. Does Vandy have it? I'm not punching their ticket just yet.

I can see it happening for them and even winning it. They've got serious pitching talent, and once they get there that very well could put them at the top. Of course, it's really hard to put it all together, especially if you haven't been there before. They are a good team.

There's your key right there. They are a very good team but it takes a special mindset to crack the CWS code.

Vanderbilt is tough competition, I don't think it's fair for people to say LSU has given up, not with how they battled today.

Your team has real problems, some of them may be rooted in confidence issues, but not lack of effort.

I think our kids showed a lot of heart today to fight back and score seven runs against the Vandy juggernaut.

This was a "David vs. Goliath" match this weekend. We competed with Vandy, and, I'm proud of that.

The wins and losses aren't important right now. What's important is that the kids have fun, get better and maybe win a game or two every once in a while.

Frustrating........ Good team. But, in the SEC you have to bring it every game. speechless. This baseball team is much better than the record shows.

Yup, I'd feel a lot better about that if it was Quiz Bowl.
