frick than inning. but hello SO.

49 pitches, Lange needs to find SO and he can go on a tear.

IMO you have to let him go 3rd.

Yep. Perfectly executed. Both runners going. Perfect placement past Lange. LSU barely got the out at 1B.

We do not need to burn through our bullpen when we're only a run down when we ourselves put a 4 spot in the 1st inning.

Exactly. At a 1 run deficit, there is no need to pull him. And yes, he is not pitching well, but still. It's a 1 run game. That's it.

When you can't locate your fastball, you're in trouble.

Some days you've got it, some days you don't. He needs to be on a super short leash in the 3rd.

Looks like Lange is battling the humidity and having a hard time gripping the ball

That's a very polite way to say that he's not hitting his spots and is leaving high juicy meatballs hanging out over the plate

I'm fricking calm.

We need to give Lange as much leeway as possible tonight to settle in.

Let's be honest, we're a little lucky it's just a one run game the way they've been swinging so far.

We need to keep the pressure on their guy this inning and hope that strikeout gets Lange to settle down some

Everyone calm down. It's the second inning and we are down 1 run.

We were up 3 and our ace is getting tagged. Not time to hit the panic button, but all is not well

Unfortunately giving back 4 runs and the lead very well may "unrattle" their pitcher...

By the reaction I would think it were 15-4 and not 5-4. We shouldn't have much of an issue scoring runs tonight, let Lange go into the dugout, talk it over, and hope he can come out and turn it around.

Have some faith in the guy. He's earned the chance to work out of this slump he's in. You get good Lange for a few innings and this game may be a run away in favor of the Tigers.
