Look baws, I understand pitching is tough shite, but we are up 9-0. All Bain has to do is throw a fricking strike. Boys I can throw a strike (not a very fast one ) 1 out of 4 pitches and I played baseball until 6th grade

I know he wants to put Gilbert in a sticky situation, but I'd really like to have seen Bain try to battle out of that situation himself

Almost everything I mentioned that I wanted to see with the bullpen has happened this weekend.
Another outing for beck, would still like to see Reese again.
Mid inning pitching changes to put guys in with runners on.
Todd Peterson getting work in a lower leverage situation.
We need to get better at stranding inherited runners though.

Thank goodness for Cheer... watchespn on roku has me going back in this thread to see what happened when it goes into loading phase then pops back up on commercial

Bain seemed to have been battling back and had some confidence building. Then CPM swaps him out for a fresh pitcher. BOOM!

I would like to see Matthew Beck and Will Reese get more meaningful innings instead of Peterson. Saw Beck play a few times in HS. He dominates when his stuff is on!
