This team cannot afford to give up outs in the bottom of the ninth inning. They must practice a choke drill with runners on base to be as consistently crappy as they have been. Hard to watch.

Hey Pawl you had 4 better options on the bench that could have hit in that situation and then if we would've have tied it up Woley could have played first base since once again you pulled Coomes out of the game. This shite has gotten unreal 
I so miss LSU baseball not Pawl ball. Don't even dress Beau,Rankin,Chris,or Brennan out Tom if you have no intention on playing them in a clutch situation. I've never been so frustrated watching lsu baseball and this coaching staffs unbelievable moves. Lange gave up 5 hits and 0 runs the final 7 innings and we lost.

If I didn't love this university so much, I'd rather them lose the series. I have a bad feeling that they will do Just enough to get the fans all excited, just to let us down early in the post season. I really hope I'm wrong, but good lord, LSU athletics falling short or expectations is getting really old right now. This team has the talent to be a national title contender. Right now, I'd be shocked if they made it past day one of the SEC tournament.

Missed the game but caught the post game interview on the wbrz news. Mainieri looked like someone shot his dog. Legitimately looked like he was about to tear up.

One LSU coach (post game interview): "LSU baseball has played the best defense in the country. For the offense, we loaded the bases many times tonight, and we were this close in winning the first game. Well, we have two more games to play. I guarantee if we don't score more than their team, we're gonna lose again"

It's just like in football and basketball; sometimes things have to get worse before they get better and you might have to accept short term loses (I'm talking about the overall program, not individual W&L's) before you see long term gains.
I've seen about enough. The program has become stagnant, complacent and doesn't have anywhere near the competitive fire of the past. The team is a direct reflection of the HC.
We all know where this is headed now. Just a matter of "When", not "If."
I'm positive that It will drag on far too long because of the "Grand King MA" that's sitting in the LSUAD throne!
Alums and Fans have to let their feelings be known to the appropriate individuals................
