Putting in Cain=throwing in the towel. If the game was close, Ott would be in.

I assume we are conceding by putting Cain in? I guess I am reading that wrong? Maybe saving our other pitchers for the next 2 games. Has anything changed from last year when we could not win on Friday? We should start Cain and keep Renaudo for Saturday and Coleman for Sunday. Play for 2 out of 3 everyweek.

Cain is ok for stopping if his stuff is on.. He earned that after a strong outing this week. Now keeping him in more than 2 innings.... no

Nah. Mainieri uses Cain in favorable situations (righty on righty, etc.) He can be effective in that role.
I think they'll bring Bradshaw or someone else in to start the 8th.
