2 innings for coleman is a glorified Bull pen workout. He doesnt need to have a lot of pitches this inning, but this will be a sort of a warmup for Coleman for the rest of the weekend.
We will see Ross tomorrow and depending on how we do tomorrow will see Coleman start on Sunday. I still think though that this was a great opportunity to get someone like Byrd an opportunity. Oh well thats why he gets the big bucks.
Unfortunately they are teeing off on Coleman right now

Runner on 1st, 2 outs...
Foul, 0-1...
Foul, 0-2...
Groundout to Schimpf to end the inning, 8-1 Tigers, Top 9.

Everybody that thinks Manieri hasn't thought this out well, raise your hand.
Ok, if you raised your hand I want you to take that hand and punch yourself in the balls for being a drama queen. The guy gets paid to think about this all week.

Coleman is on a pitch count tonight. Will start Sunday if we don't need him in the same role tomorrow.

LSU should go for the sweep, forget winning the series!!!
Seriously, I would be satisfied taking 2 out of 3 against the No. 1 team on their home turf.

Did I say I didn't trust him or that I thought it was a bad decision? NO...Just making a point about that statment.

Boat, what the hell? Do you just look for something to bitch about? We are up 7 behind great pitching and timely hitting. Pretty sure Coach has an idea of what he is doing. You need to drink more.

Nice. How many pitches is that for Coleman now? 12? 14?

Agreed, Jared Bradford did it all of last year with a "little" bit of success
Posted on 4/3/09 at 8:50 pm to CAD703X
he had 12 after the 7th. don't know about 8th
Posted on 4/3/09 at 8:50 pm to Gmorgan4982
how about wanting to get a win for sure on a friday night and not having to win saturday AND sunday to win a series.

Too many for him to pitch on Sunday according to some of these rantards.
