He was better than Nola as a freshman. Nola struggled keeping the ball down in the zone as a freshman and got roughed up a bit. Lange was freaking unbelievable as a freshman and appeared to have no flaws.
But, Nola got better every year he was here. And Lange has regressed a little. By Nola's last year, he was guaranteed to dominate and give us a chance to win if we could score 1 or 2 runs. Lange appears to really have to work hard just to get through each inning.
