I assume that the baseball team has held several scrimmages so far and other than two tweets I have not been able to find any information about them. If anyone has a source of baseball stats, summaries, or anything related to LSU baseball, please let me know.

I think they’ve only had two scrimmages. Planning on having 4 or 5 if I remember right from Paul’s press conference last week.

I wish @LSUbaseballdata tweet out a full box score instead of stats for just a few players.

I wish they would let the couple dozen fans who attend scrimmages in to see them this fall. I was PO'ed when CPM said they would like to allow fans in but due to ....BS!

Honestly Scuba, I don't understand it. You enter through a gate with no one there, you can sit by yourself with no one around, all outdoors. There is really no reason a few fans should not be allowed to sit in the stands.
Not to mention, many of us actually really enjoy your reports on the fall. I understand playing it safe, but they should have some thoughts about their fans. Like Project said, stream it or at the very least give us some stats.

I got the green light to go out there, so I'll try to make a couple. I'll be sure to come back here and post some of what I see. I appreciate the updates y'all provide here, so I'll try to return the favor if I get the chance.

Scuba, if you have contact info to a local player they may be able to help you get in.

Thanks Hunt, I know I count on Scuba’s post during the fall. Sucks not having anything to go off of...

Yeah, the only posts I ever bookmark on this site were Scuba's scrimmage box scores so I could use them to fill up my stat spreadsheets.

I just get frustrated when I see other schools doing things LSU could easily do, like Nebraska getting 38K people watching their live stream of a scrimmage, and all we get are 4 hitters and 2 pitchers worth of stats each scrimmage.

Micah Gibbs was good at updating
It’s been sporadic since he left

The only member of the staff listed on LSU's twitter is Nolan Cain. Nate Fury's twitter is not public any more.

It looks like they are limiting attendance to Coaches Committee members on certain days. They were supposed to have a scrimmage 10/9 but that has been moved to 10/16 due to the storm.

I saw where LSU is allowing coach's committee members to attend two or four scrimmages depending on their donation level. I'm hoping I get invited to one or more of these by someone who is a member.

Eddie Smith is fairly active on Twitter. Hasn’t been any help regarding scrimmages though

Scuba I’m probably going to head out there on 10/16. You have to arrive between 2-3 to be admitted. If you’re interested you can email mail me and we’ll work out the details.

Any baseball players that might opt out?
I know they already missed a whole season and limited summer and most LSU pitchers did not throw during summer.

I guess they are better off playing in baseball or risk losing a longer time with no activity.

Anybody who opts out won't be attempting to enter the MLB draft.

Outside of 1% of pitchers in this junior/senior class a team will not draft a player "at a premium draft slot" that has played 17 games in two seasons and missed valuable development.
