Thank you, at least I found one guy that gets it, too many keyboard atheletes on this board. Not very many people who’ve ever really played one pitch or one down.

They wear it on their throwing hand. Not impossible to catch with a broken finger. Pretty damn hard to throw with one though

what's next, face masks on the helmets like the girls?

I would call you an ignorant frick but I guess I'm the more ignorant one for reading through this waste of space you call a thread. I will say I agree with one of the posters about your dad wearing protection or the very least your mom could've swallowed and not been selfish. That being said you shared your opinion so I will share mine. I don't give a rats arse if we come out there in mini skirts and roller blades if we bring home the victory they can dress however they want.

A handful of dirt worked just fine for well over a century.

You haven’t been watching LSU baseball for very long, have you?

Yep, dirt was used back then because there was nothing else to use for protection. You do know hockey players did not wear masks/helmets for well over a century, too? As noted, go tell Mike Trout how dumb those gloves look. Where do you stand on knee high socks vs ankle length? Battle helmet flaps vs regular helmets ?

I agree. They look like oven mitts and I’m pretty sure they were intended for softball players that didn’t want to break a nail. Just saying. Quit being vaginas!!

I played college football, and I'm all about improvements that help prevent injuries. Do you have a problem with linemen wearing knee braces?

Al former Tiger Billy McBride of he wishes he would've had a pair of those mitts in his day in the early 00s.
Dude slid into 2nd during an intersquad game, middle infielder came down & spiked his hand during a head first slide. His hand was spiked thru to the ground & his body kept sliding. Pulled his shoulder all outta whack. Ended his career. Last I heard, he can't even throw the ball to his dog or kid for that matter.
