I want to be happy about this but I can't accept Bama being Top 10 in all three major sports. It's disgusting.

I like our schedule though. We play all 4 unranked SEC teams and we play top 10 teams Tennessee, Arkansas and Bama at home.

Other 3 series are Oklahoma, Auburn and Texas on road. I had us going 1-2 this weekend so if we win this series against #5 Texas then I wont doubt us in any series.

Kind’ve supports the narrative that Tenn’s power only plays at home.

They weren't top 10 in football this past year

For being a fan of a school that notoriously talks a lot of shite, some of y'all get really upset when other teams do it.

Ill pull for Tennessee, China, and Jockish before I'd even think about rooting for Bama at anything

Some of you have to get your mind off of football during baseball season. If you’re rooting for Vitello against anyone..you suck

Not really. It was legitimately a home run until the guy made a great play and caught it about 15 inches above the outfield wall.

Maybe except Alabama's stadium dimensions are virtually identical. The right field fence in Tennessee is 2 feet taller, it looks to me like that would not have cleared a 10-foot fence. Maybe the 692-foot difference in elevation could have meant that the ball traveled a bit further. Would it be far enough?

Sewell-Thomas Stadium (Alabama)
Foul Lines 320
Power Alleys 360
Center 390
Height of Fence 8ft RF, 10ft CF, LF
Surface Grass
Elevation 200 feet

Linsey Nelson Stadium (Tenn)
Foul Lines 320
Power Alleys 360
Center 390
Height of Fence 10.5
Surface Grass
Elevation 892 feet

The announcer talked about him on the broadcast saying the guy that started last night is the more offensive option while Neal is the better defender.

(this was before the caught stealing in the 9th)

I thought "Bama is going to be in a world of pain at some point if Brady Neal is their best defensive catcher"

Since when does this happen in baseball? Usually just the coaches shake hands.

No.

The dugouts usually empty and they line up to shake hands after.

You're being too literal. They finished #11. LSU wasn't Top 25. That nauseates me.

The CFP poll doesnt release anything after the postseason, that ranking was before bowl/playoff season. They finished 17 in the coach's and AP poll which does release final polls after the postseason and took the loss to Michigan's backups into account.

So no, they didn't finish #11 the same way Oregon didn't finish #1 and Ohio State didn't finish #6

TN was also beaten by ETSU a couple days ago. Probably flying high after the Florida series.
Losing to ETSU and then Bama should bring them down to reality.

Then I guess Bama isn't a Top 10 baseball or basketball team either since the final poll isn't out. Bama football spent 9 weeks in the Top 10, LSU one. . It still nauseates me to see Bama excel in all three major sports and you knew that's what I meant. Take your prize for most literal.
