You hate to see it. But at the same time, you love to see it.

We did not have only 39 scolly players. That is flat out wrong. Only 39 dressed out for bowl game. Get your facts straight.

LSU was in a much worse spot but sure let’s let Bama fans feel like they’re going through it.

No one deserves to truly experience poverty like Bama fans. They deserve scratching and clawing to get to 6-6 so they can play in the liberty bowl vs Iowa State.

A depleted Bama lessens the value of the television deal too. Saban-led Bama brought viewers, Bama without Saban will take awhile, if ever, to return to that level. Another team will have to earn that spot. Georgia is getting to that “must-watch tv” but now they need a legitimate rival. LSU? Texas? Perfect opportunity for both those programs to enhance or restore their national brand.

Bama will Colorado this year. Expect dozens of transfers going into 2025.

The draw from the transfer portal when it opens will aid Bama. Even though they will lose their elite players there will be many that will transfer in who will get to say they played there and that will be good players. I’m sure that the coffers will open by Bama elite alumni to try to wrestle in some elite players from the portal but spring practice and spring game will not be what they are accustomed. They will struggle this year and lose some games that will hurt them in their lofty expectations and in recruiting. As mentioned, they will scratch their heads and realize that it was not Alabama that these kids wanted to play for but the idea of championships led by Nick Saban.
