Three stops, not two. It was the entire third quarter. Then they gave up two drives that should have resulted in two FGs but one was missed. Then they were forced to defend a short field and forced a FG attempt.
They gave up another FG, so 6 second half points to go with 14 first half points against a good SEC offense on the road. That, my friend, is winning football IF your offense shows up. It didn’t.
So to summarize: the defense gave up 20 points (should have been 23) in regulation on the road against a good SEC offense. And this includes our offense giving Kentucky the ball at our own 13.

I seent it! Seriously frustrating to play soft zone for a half and get gutted, send pressure in 2nd half and allow 0 points until the final drive.
We have problems everywhere as you would expect with all new everything. Nothing we cant overcome. Good news bad news is we have back to back to back weeks of games that will rescue this season or bury it dead.

He doesn’t need excuses to go on the road against a good SEC offense and hold them to 20 points in regulation including a gifted red zone opportunity. The excuses need to come from our offense that only put up 27 points against a shitty defense, couldn’t deliver a first down on two late opportunities, and turned the ball over twice.
