Think we see a new person on 3rd next year

Correct. Shallow left field and trying to score from 2nd. Jordan needs his eyes checked.

I sure hope so. We have the worse defensive catchers in the league and continue to screw up on the basepaths.

Yeah he had no chance. It's worst considering there was only 1 out.

I thought the catcher couldn’t stand in front of home until he had the ball. He was clearly in front of the base well before the ball got there.

have you watched all of the other catchers in the league?

my thoughts exactly - must be some varieations in the interpretations.
I've seen it go uncalled in two games recently now - and coach has made no objections or asked for replay.

Why? Is there some saying that I’m unaware of like “you never make the second out at home?”

No, but there are many opportunities to drive in a runner from 3B with less than 2 outs. I think that's what the poster meant. If he holds him, there's a high chance he scores on the next ab. Kinda like not stealing on a 3-0 count.

Curiel being called out is bullshite, so I have no issue with him being sent. More importantly, let's say Jordan holds Curiel at 3B. It would have been bases loaded with 1 out. Dardar grounded out to 1B in what could have been a double play that ended the inning with Curiel still not scoring.
Jordan is aggressive on the bases, and I have no issue with it. It's helped us many times, and people seem to forget that when we score runs.

Gotta bitch bout something since they didnt lose right?

I get the call. You did see in the bottom 4th were it was 2nd and 3rd 1 out and they couldn't get a run in. I do see making them make the throw try and force an error. The same part of the line up was coming up in that part of the inning when they sent Curiel.

While I'm not too sure about the interferrence call, the runner should have definately been held up at third. The left fielder was shallow and the ball was hit directly to him. Ball beat the runner by quite a bit.

quote:I don’t have problem with him being aggressive and forcing other teams to make a play however it does seem like his ultra aggressive style this year has ran LSU out of runs in plenty of innings this year, and with how inconsistent this pitching staff has been mistakes on the offensive side have to be at a minimum.

It was a ground ball to shallow left field. Should never have been sent. Against a good team that will cost you a win. That’s my point. Bad coaching decisions has cost this team a lot of games.

You are proving his point that some people need something to bitch about. Your post history further proves it b/c you only start negative threads. How far back would someone need to go in your post history to find something positive? I can't imagine going through life seeing only the bad side of things and feeling the need to constantly complain.
Posted on 5/4/26 at 12:11 pm to notbilly
Bingo. He only shows up when we lose with bad post. Never seen him say anything positive.

Considering the sweep of sc is the first positive thing in over a month.

Is there good video of this somewhere? I didn't see it live and I can't seem to find a good video. I only find a phone video from high behind the plate.
