Bad baseball

Lead off double twice and can’t get runner to third.
Catching bullshite giving up run.
Terrible abs late in game with decisions to n who and when to bunt.
There is as more but I was driving and watching the game the whole time so I couldn’t focus better.
Anyway, take a win and do better hopefully tomorrow.

The talent is good. The philosophy is what’s bad. Bunt the runner to third 10 times out of 10 after a lead off double in a tie game. I don’t understand why we only do it in the 9th. You wouldn’t need to bat in the bottom of 9th if you scored in the 6th. That’s baseball odds.

Because we tried to bunt and couldn’t get one down. If milazzo doesn’t whiff on 2 bunt attempts we would’ve scored.

I agree with the statement that we have played well this year and lost, take the W. Hopefully the team will improve before it matters while picking up some Ws in the meantime against lesser sec schools
