This may be the biggest beta pussy thing I’ve ever seen posted on tRant. Holy shite, some of you need to grow some testicular fortitude.

It is very curious how supposed LSU "fans" on here are outraged that the rest of TD (not to mention the rest of the country) observes that there is an obvious and blatant bias regarding the Alabama program. They watch videos of Nick and put their bottles of hand lotion and kleenex down, just long enough to cry on here about how unfair it is to attack the poor university of Alabama football program and those in conference offices, who do everything in their power to support them; anyone who dares to say anything accusatory can be damned. The truth is Alabama is a dirty program and they always have been.

Those who defend it can GFY.

So, has anyone ever actually explained why the vicious flinging of JD by the nameplate was NOT called a horse collar? Hell, it looked like it could be unnecessary roughness no matter what.

Because flinging a guy around in a circle is not a horse collar tackle.

Do you know why there is a rule for a horse collar tackle?

Oh bullshite! Just this season there was an LSU defender who came in with a forearm to the head of a ballcarrier who was already down. It was plainly visible to everyone and right in front of the refs, but it didn’t get called.

Because the refs missed a call. It happens literally every single game on both sides. Quit bitching.

I understand missing a call in the trenches or having a pour angle to make an accurate call but this play was in the wide open in middle of the field right in front of the officials. Impossible to miss the obvious horse collar. This was pure Bama bias. And as long as the official office is located in Alabama these calls will always exist a favor Bama!

So what you're saying is, we get one or two of those a year . . . as opposed to Bama getting one or two a game. Got it!

It wasn't even a missed call. It was a borderline call. If the Bama player had pulled him down from behind when he originally grabbed him it would have been a clear horse collar. But with his other hand he grabbed the front jersey (?) turned him sideways, and then flung him down. Borderline call, imo.
This is why I'm asking - I guess I just don't understand the rule. Can somebody please state cleanly the case for the non-call that does not include pro-Bama conspiracies?

Which part of JD's uniform and/or person did the tackler gain such easy and immediate purchase from?

The SEC openly rigs games. When a game is decided beforehand, the safety of the players will even be compromised in order to get the favored team the "win".
so the SEC Rigging Committee decided that Bama had won enough (2014-16), so they let UGA win in 2017. Then back to Bama. Then they threw a monkey-wrench into it and rigged it for LSU in 2019. Back to Bama in 2020 and 2021, but then decided UGA should win it in 2022.

I guess the SEC Rigging Committee likes to spread the love around a little.
