You have started with this statement, so I could quit reading. Sitting on your fat arse in your recliner calling out people who went and spent their money and sat in the heat and tailgated in the rain?

BTW, stayed until 0:00 here.

I agree with Hebert. Our fans were atrocious last night as far as their "fanhood".

With all due respect to Hebert I've never listened to him on the radio and thought he was anywhere in the neighborhood of being intelligent. Guy seems like an emotional idiot.

Well, it was pretty lame that fans were leaving early last night. You knew the game was at 8, maybe you shouldn't have brought your young child or old arse dad

But complaining about LSU fans leaving early is worthless an I don't really care.

It wasn't just leaving early. Nobody even seemed to want to be there. The product on offense was poor but let's be honest, fans usually get riled up for the defense and this is the most exciting defense we've had in years.

Les Miles has taken the joy out of watching LSU football at home for me.

I can't imagine trying to stay in a stadium for 3.5 - 4 hours watching that spectacle. I wouldn't leave, but I can fully understand why some people do.

If Hawthorne weren't so bad, I might just listen to the game so that I could pretend that it couldn't possibly be as bad as it sounds.

It's important for the fans to stay and continuing cheering if for no other reason than the Defense is winning the games for us and needs our help!

On the contrary, the fanbase has made me completely apathetic towards the team because no matter the success or the failure, it will result in the same bullshite by the fanbase at this point.

Hebert is an idiot, but from TV seemed obvious it was thinning and the announcer did point it out to every FB fan in American tuning in to see the revered spectacle of Death Valley. It is nothing new, but sucks for recruiting, just like the booing.

$0.02 remaining: all the boo-backers need to man-up and admit they were booing JJ. Yes, it is damn frustrating, and it is your right to boo a kid who plainly is in over his head, but don't try to hide it the next day by saying "i was aiming my boo at Miles and Crow when Jefferson came back out on the field." Come on, you were brave enough to boo the kid from a 1/4 mile away, don't puss out now!

Hell, i was yelling at the TV, but I save my live boos for the Refs.

The stadium seemed pretty full to me in the 4th. When J Lee came in you would have sworn we just scored a touchdown. I would imagine this mass evacuation of fans probably came on the next series when JJ came back in. Lee handed it off twice and then throws for the 1st which is called back on a penalty. Then completes a pass short of the 1st and then he is yanked. I would imagine folks saw all they needed to see to be disgusted with our coaches. Lee wasn't even given a fair chance to prove he can do anything. What ever JJ has on Miles, it must be good. I'm not saying we should give up on JJ but Miles is getting on all of our last nerves. I stayed all the way until the end but I have never been more fustrated with LSU after a win then last night. I'm happy we are 4-0, but the writting is on the wall and the future isn't looking so bright for when we start playing real teams. One JV unit left and then we have to play actual football teams.

I see a lot of potential but if this offense doesn't get it together you can scratch beating Florida, Bama or Arkansas. Whats weird is that I still think we will beat Auburn and Ol Miss playing this poorly.

Were you really at the game? It was the tamest that stadium has been at night in a very long time for a game against a ranked opponent.

Why were they leaving?

It is freaking obvious why they were leaving. Most people go to a football game for enjoyment. I don't think any fans for WV or LSU walked away from Tiger Stadium happy.

It is sort of like going to the dentist. You go because you need to go. Once the need is gone you sure don't stick around for more needless pain.

on Saints postgame show - "redikalus" that the fans leave with the outcome in question, and mentioned that W. Va fans were surprised. I'm with him on that. Yeah, I know it was an 8pm game, yada yada.

But for the 6pm Vandy game it was the same thing, and all last year. I sold my tix this year and watched from home, impressed in the 4th quarter that so many fans stayed and wore gold for the Gold Game - a solid wall of gold on the far side, only to realize it was the gold chairbacks. I don't get people who leave in the 3rd Quarter or early in the 4th.

I stay home when ambivalent about the team, rather than go and boo and/or leave early.

It's ironic that the people who pay the most for their seats/tix are where the majority of the empty seats are before the game and the ones that empty out the earliest and most by the end of the game. That is, sidelines and the terrace (upper decks). it sux that since it's become soooooooooo much about $$$, the chance, right, privilege to see a game live has become a luxury.
And to think that there are die hard LSU fans that would give anything to be there if they could aford it.
I've had a season ticket for 15 years, and, yes, Ive left games no more than 3-4 min left on clock, and ONLY in blow out wins. Crazy, but I've never left a loss early
AND i've never boo'd.

Perhaps our fanbase is just accepting of its own mediocrity.
