The amazing thing about the Austin Thomas to UT rumors is that they survived 2 AD's and 2 named HC's. He must really want to go home.

And it was a done deal before they hired a coach. Weird.

Those same Tennessee boards had Les Miles, Mike Gundy, and then Mike Leach as "done deals."

Their insiders don't know shite. Even on the pay sites.

Recruiting was not LSU's problem before Austin Thomas got here.
We've missed on more LA kids since Thomas has been here.

He's not the end all be all for LSU recruiting.

Vol forums are the worst place in the world to get credible information.

We also got Jacoby Stevens and Phillips because of him. He’s actually not just involved in recruiting and isn’t tasked with locking down Louisiana. He does a lot more than recruit

This has Sexton all over it. Sexton is AT's agent and a huge Vol booster.

Either Sexton wants AT at UT or AT wants to be at UT because of what Sexton can get him there.

Sexton a big UT booster? That's pretty funny. He is an alum of Tennessee but he does nothing that is in the best interest of Tennessee. He could care less about Tennessee and we could care less about him.

In his position he could not afford to be a big booster for any university. He has to many irons in to many fires. He has one job to do and that is to be conniving and make as much money as possible for his coaches and himself......he is very good at doing that.

If you dont think he has had any sort of say so in UT coaching hires, youre blind. His family has been involved with UT for a long time and they clearly like to do business with him.

This I agree with. The term booster is probably incorrect. He likely cant be an official booster for any program due to conflicts of interest. However, he has deep ties to UT and is an alum so I am sure he shows a slight favortism to UT somewhere down deep in his black heart.
