I’ve still yet to see someone explain what he did in detail. I don’t actually understand what roster management means as a day to day job for someone at a college football team. I feel like that position didn’t exist in the mid 2000s but maybe I’m just not remembering. I know there has always been a recruiting staff which makes sense to me but any managing of the roster should be handled by the coaches, no?

I heard he can come back in another capacity but just not his current role. I think he wants to find a place to do what he was doing as GM with Football somewhere.
