people on this website called this dude invaluable to the team and football program back in the day I think it was after one Advocate puff piece

Must be a part of Kelly trimming the fat. There can be a point when there are too many conflicting ideas in the room. Kelly probably feels this is the case with all of our analysts and a gm.

That was maybe the best thread in Coaching Changes Board history.

Dude's were literally "pay Austin $1 million, make him athletic director, anything, we CANNOT lose him"

People were convinced he would be an NFL GM in the very near future.
