Consider the source……dumbazzery is incurable and agree with the Joh Ed Reference

Same attitude that won a national championship…with Deculus. And you are a true a-hole.

Gotta love AD for his unrelenting desire and great attitude. God bless Austin. Tiger forever.

Sorry if the truth hurts. We don't need average loyal players. LSU should have the top offensive lineman in the country starting for us. That way of thinking is why they kept Miles 4 years too long and hired Orgeron.

4 year actually. He didn’t start as a freshman.

I always love to see him lying on the field just this side of DEAD, thinking there is no way he’ll ever play again. He makes it to the sideline & is back on the field two plays later.

All his beers are on me if I get the chance.

Would have been a guard n all sec at a few other schools that could actually recruit the tackle position...

Yep my man would Willis Reed it every other week….

There aren't enough superlatives to describe what he has done for LSU.

When I see him on the field with his effort, it reminds me of Alan Faneca.

Thank you for your effort and long term commitment as a Tiger, Austin. Good luck in your future.

College is different for everyone, but over 30 years removed, and feel it was the best time of my life…..Always wonder if I had the choice now, to go back, would I right now….Always remember Grant Hill saying that after making the Millions in the pro’s that if given the chance, he would go back in a heartbeat to his college days… many of us are kind of like that, but no one has that option….. Just make the most out of today, life is short…..

Shaq has also said that the college years were the best.

Just so I can compare your situation accurately…..
We’re you a starter for the football team at LSU?
If not, I’m not sure anyone here cares about your college experience and it likely bears no similarities to Austin Deculus
Weird, hostile take. When I was at LSU, I played in the band but had several very close friends who were on the football team. Other than our roles on Saturday nights in the stadium, I think we had some very similar experiences in college. You should read "It Never Rains In Tiger Stadium" by former LSU football player John Ed Bradley. There's a lot more that goes on for athletes than just the sport they play. They are still human with relationships, doubts, highs and lows.
