Their QB is the leading rusher in the SEC. Fail.

He also is close to the top in completion %. Chavis will take one thing away, whatever he thinks he can stop most effectively. Newton will either have a decent game running or passing, but not both.

They scraped by MSU & UK on the road, but on the flip side, they did beat SCAR & Clemson at home.

I think that after having faced the 3-headed monster of John Brantley/Trey Burton/Jordan Reed in The Swamp, LSU's D will be ready for anything Cameron Newton can throw at them, and if LSU's D plays reasonably well, then LSU's O should be able to mop the floor with Auburn's D.

So, if neither Auburn nor LSU deserves to be in the top 10, which 10 teams do y'all think are deserving?

Well to be fair, I'm not convinced we are top 10 material just yet.

Name 10 better teams right now.

Exactly, at least we won the close games. At this point, compared to the rest, we are Top 10

This game will go down to the last minute or the last play. That's the script for the 2010 season.

If Chavis is as smart as i think he is...then LSU will force Newton to throw the ball...and that could meant 2 or 3 INTs.

LSU offense...if Crowton sticks with the UF gameplan...should be able to move the ball against AU.

Now...if LSU has a bunch of TOs and penalties..then all bets are off.

But if LSU plays a relatively clean game..then I think we win by 6.

We were hosed against those 2 years also. The BS flag on the Field goal in 04, and the pic above in 06

Only a dumbass would have thought that in 06. That game was going to be a war.

LSU is going to beat Auburn pretty handily this season.

Let's get past McNeese this week, then we can talk about how "handily" LSU will win at Jordan-Hare.

On what grounds does LSU win handily? All of a sudden we beat an average Florida team and we are beating our chest. Amazing.

I think Arky exposes Aubie tomorrow. If they don't, we will.

I'm sure there are Auburn fans saying the exact same thing about LSU.

They beat the man that beat the man so I'd say they are worthy of being in the top ten. Their offense(primarily the QB) is top tier but their defense will prevent them from reaching the BCS title game IMO. Unless of course they improve dratically between now and next week. I don't think they can improve on D as much as LSU can improve on offense. Should be a great Tiger match-up.

They have certainly not accomplished much considering their rank, and strangely their ascend form 23 to the top 10.

If they beat Arky by more than a TD I'll concede they are a good team.

We barely beat a BAD Tennessee squad so we can be had!
And AU barely beat MSU, Clemson, USCe and Kentucky. AU has won their 4 games against BCS teams by an average of 4 points per game.
