I actually give this kid credit for standing in there and trying to take Fournette down by himself. That's more than could be said for a lot of his teammates. It's too bad he'll be remembered like Bill Bates. But that's the game.

Countess Moving On.....

"It is what it is," Countess told AL.com Tuesday. "It's part of the game. I'm a football player, it happens. Obviously it didn't go my way. But I can't let that play beat me for the rest of the season. I'm moving forward, we're moving forward.

"I did what I could on the play. Looking back I probably could have done some things differently. But in the moment that's how it happened, that's how it went down. that's part of football. That's part of the game. Get up and play the next play

He's right. We have talked about this wayyyy too much

At least Countess tried to tackle him, unlike Rudy Ford.

He's their smallest DB and he went after it the hardest. The rest of them were loafers.

It's definitely not out of the realm of possibility

All you nerds that keep talking about this play, like you personally accomplished something, need to stfu and act like you've been there. Even though, and it's painfully obvious, you've never come close to having the kind of torque or horses to actually run anybody over, let alone a starter on defense in the SEC.

His wasn't as bad as the aTm guy. That dude legitimately thought he was going to win and got dumped.

Auburn guy was more like trying to slow LF down so others could tackle.

Does this logic apply to golf threads on the MSB?

All the defenders to be abused by LSU players need to start a support group. I nominate Zach Smith as the organization's president.

I'm not sure he ever recovered enough to lead that group. Poor Zach
