College Gameday is going to Clemson, SC this week. That should tell you how much you should be concerned about Auburn, AL

You don't have to be an insider to know that the path of this storm is definitely known to both schools, the conference and television networks

Looks like there will be some really nice, dry and cool weather for kickoff

Then admins need to pin it. Not on first page and not everyone beats off all day and plays on the rant like some

Answer the question or get fricked

It will be a rain event for Auburn. The game isn’t getting moved

I see them tracking the storm away from Auburn.

Compare that to Katrina's path. Then look at Central La. in relation and Auburn in relation to what you posted. Here in Alexandria, we did not get a drop of rain, and the winds were not even memorable. That, or I just am not remembering clearly.

Auburn will not experience tropical storm conditions or worse, so no, this will not be an issue.

Of course they are. Though, I doubt they’ll need them. But these games make way too much money, and the SEC has gone through this too many times to just wait it out and risk a cancellation. They’re probably discussing 2 or 3 potential contingencies as we speak. Better to have them and not need them than the other way around.

West side is the dry side. Probably have very little rain or wind if any.

One would hope so. Both generally, and specifically for the people of Auburn.

That said, society seems to be much less reluctant to unnecessarily cancel things well in advance for what turn out to be little more than "rain events."

In 2008 LSU begrudgingly moved up the start time of a game to accommodate a strong hurricane bearing down on Baton Rouge. Now, the mere threat of a slightly stronger than usual rainy day is justification to shut down a city for 1-2 days.

It’g going more to the east. There’s a high pressure cell over Texas that’s going to push it more eastwardly

What, why? To the extent Auburn feels any affects, it will be light rain, but more towards Noon that 6 p.m.
