Once again...our lack of consistency on the mound and our consistency of being below average in the field are the two biggest problems with this team. Say what u want, but being down 4 runs changes your mentality and approach at the plate. Not saying it should, but it does.

Has anybody kept a tally of how many errors this team actually has? There have been a lot of “hits” given that might be described as borderline at best.

My guess would be 46-48. I think the true number is 42. The rest is borderline either way calls that were called hits.

I know. Thats why i said our pitching AND FIELDING are the two aspects of this team that are doing us in. I agree with you. We dont have pitchers that can overcome any adversity either though, and that is a problem. I guess money just gets a pass for serving up a 3 run shot for some reason in your mind? I dont understand that logic.

This umpire either hates us, RHPs, or both. They’ve consistently gotten calls well off that corner of the plate and we’ve gotten none.
