Can someone please replace the That Kid Jayden fluff piece with detailed stats such that LSU defines the narrative instead of leaving it to the media.

I’m talking:

-highest single season pass efficiency rating in FBS HISTORY

-highest single season QBR rating in FBS HISTORY

-only 1 of x players (whatever the number is) with x,xxx passing yards and x,xxx rushing yards in a single season

-only player in FBS history to pass for 400+ yards and rush for 200+ yards in a single game

JD is having a historic season and the media is only displaying graphics how his passing yards are on par with Nix and Penix.

Word needs to get out and LSU is doing a crap job defining the narrative.

Because a billboard filled with numbers is really going to grab people’s attention while they are driving down the interstate.

LSU’s marketing department doesn’t have any influence on what graphics ESPN or Fox are throwing up on tv

Agree, but, LSU is giving them zero ammo for consideration. And, left to their own devices, we’re seeing what happens.

The SEC Network finally put up his rushing yards last night in a comparison graphic. While watching with a friend who is non-SEC, guy said “well that’s pretty clear cut…I had no idea”.

That’s why he is saying that LSU should post historical stats on their billboards. I saw a graphic this morning that compared only passing %, passing yards, passing TDS and rushing tds. It doesn’t tell the whole story. JD5 has 1000 more yards on the ground.

Because he’s def referencing putting these stats on billboards, surely not social media or anything like that

Technically he didn't throw for 400 and run for 200. The talking point is 350 passing and 200 rushing.

I like the 50 total TD's as a Heisman stat.

Great. The LSU marketing department has nothing to do with what graphics you are seeing from other places. Go look at LSU football’s Twitter. It is filled different stats and graphics.

I do not know who does LSU's marketing, but over the years I have often thought that this is something LSU does poorly (and has for a long time).

I figure this was fluff story week. LSU will have to put on a full court press next week because JDs sitting while his competition is in a big game…

Why do you think that? LSU has one of the top viewed/followed social media accounts every single year.

LSU needs to be tweeting this stuff out rather than having people search for it.

Heisman ballots went out 1-2 days ago and are due 7 days from when they were sent.

This week is critical…LSU needs to be blasting this stuff out daily.
