LSU will always play a minimum of 2 of these games every year. Most years 3 (at least until the SEC expands to 9 conference games). This year we play Grambling, Army, and Georgia State. Again, realizing that we WILL play 3 of these games, which one of the 3 seems to be the most interesting?
Of the 3 this one should be the most competitive but I really have little interest in all 3 of those.

it will be an ugly and annoying game for our defense going against the triple option the week after a tough SEC road game and before the Bama bye week.

Certainly possible. The triple option is best defensed by playing disciplined football, keeping to your assignment. I like the coach we have in place to instill this discipline to our players.

I suspect the atmosphere will be the best of the non conference games. The vast majority of our fan base will enjoy this day/tailgating imo more than any other non Conference game.

LSU’s other two home non-conference games are Grambling and Georgia State. Not exactly a difficult statement to make.

Well for God's sake don't let the team know this. They will be devastated.

It was a response to his inquiry. Don’t talk while the grown ups are speaking.

Paired with LSU's military history, there will probably be a lot of recognition throughout breaks regarding LSU and Army. That will be awesome.

We should blow their doors off but it should be exciting for the Army fans that haven't visited for an LSU game. The South loves its armed forces.

My most anticipated game of the year.

The Grambling game with another "Entertaining" SWAC Marching Band is mine.

Might come up for that one; waiting to see when the Band Alumni game is and against what team to decide.

The LSUAD "Delicate Genius's" have scheduled it much too late in the season the last few years. (Too cold and not enough exciting "Bang for the Buck.")

They'll probably do it again and shove it way back to November 18th against Georgia State. Sorry, that's a No Go for me.........

Please stick to the thread topic and stop flirting. No need for personal attacks to gain favor with the board bullies up in here.

Do you have an opinion on the game? Did you even know Army had a football team?

Do we think this game will have a pretty solid atmosphere due to it being a service academy?

Hopefully so! I have several classmates coming to BR to attend this game. My biggest concern is drawing the dreaded 11:00 kick off. Otherwise, as a long time season ticket holder, I’m looking forward to being on the receiving end of piss balloons and Tigerbait chants on the way to my seats!

Geaux Army! BEAT LSU!

Will be there for this one. My son is 101st arty, and my daughter (no pics) senior. Gonna need a split jersey.

No. If it’s not a ranked, big name out of conference opponent, Tiger fans ain’t showing out

This game will be close to a sellout (if not sold out) and there will be plenty of fans there.
