they speak about last year's OL like they were all-world quality or something

A lot of people on here and outsiders fail to acknowledge that LSU had the worst possible situation with a first time starter at center last year. If you want to end a season, lose your center and not have depth. Then in the first half of TAMU losing your left guard for the season killed the continuity of the Oline. Get to the UF game and lose right guard and you get 7 sacks.

The continuity of that group is critical.

Meh the oline wasn’t that lights out last year. Not much of a step back to take

Right. I know we had some highly touted o-lineman last year, but we weren’t good as a whole. Couldn’t run the ball and pass pro wasn’t what it should have been.

and we only return Chester who was a huge reason as to why we couldn't run the ball. gonna basically need 5 relative unknowns to step up and ball out if the offense is gonna do anything.

What the frick is this shite about taking a step back on the offensive line? With Braelin Moore and Josh Thompson, we’re plugging and playing two legit offensive linemen with the potential to be All-SEC.

The season will all depend on if Nuss takes another step up in his game

This season will 100% depend on the O line. If they can give Nuss time and run block just a little bit LSU will be a very dangerous team.

No. But I do think LSU was much more talented on the OL last year than they will be this year, and people thinking that there won’t be a drop off are in for a big surprise.

You don’t lose four OL to the NFL draft and get better. The only returning guy looked terrible last year

Tell us something we don't already know.
Lost 4 OL starters and only signed 2 from the transfer portal. All the returning OL's that are projected starters have no experience. That's not a good scenario in the SEC and Butter Kreme doesn't seem too worried about it..

Pressure up the middle, not calling blocking protection, etc. he was the reason for multiple sacks and INTs.
