Honesty….I don’t even watch or engage until Hoover.

Then, I watch every game until the ride ends.

I have no interest in ever watching LSU get run ruled by NSU.

To be honest, I follow the season through Tigerdroppings.... So I thought we sucked until about this time Wednesday night.

I've never thought they were as good as 2023 LSU or some of the other all-time national champions. But I've also never thought that any other team this season was better than them. So I guess I always thought they had a shot.

I always this team was capable of going to Omaha.
When Evans went from a reliever to starting and beating Tennessee, I thought we could win it all.

I've said it several times, Omaha is like a regional + a super. First week is the regional, finals are a super regional (best of 3).
With Anderson and Eyanson, we are uniquely set up for a Super, and the Finals. The regional, we would win with talent. The key was the first week of Omaha, and we had the pitching to get through it

If this is true, you would've wanted Jay Johnson fired. I can't pull up the game thread with all the doom and gloom posters on there.

But answering the op, opening game of the CWS. I knew we were good enough to make it to Omaha. But getting that W in game one was crucial. With our pitching and defense, I knew we had a great shot. This is the best infield defense I've seen at LSU.

Yeah you definitely aren’t getting the same amount of satisfaction that those of us that have watched every game and experienced the ups and downs across the entire season are

I was skeptical all the way until they beat Arkansas without having to use Anderson and Eyanson.

I hoped we’d make it to the CWS.

Back in March. I got LSU +2000 to win the CWS. Placed my bet then. Hopefully will be cashing in tomorrow
