The issue at hand is timing. It was way too late to hire anyone noteworthy. Now we have to wait until the season is over.

Doubt we are find one mid season.
It’s unfortunate that the guy BK hired for sick, but can’t control that.
I’d imagine that after the season of the original guy can’t return we hire a new one. Or maybe hire a new one anyway. But a change won’t be made in season.

He’s either healthy to do the job or not
If not than decisions have to be made on both sides and you come to an amicable agreement for both parties
