This debacle is on our AD

Wouldn't pay Chavis

Wont pay enough to steal one way

What exactly has he directed?

Bean Counter has to go :bang head:

The LSU Brand has been damaged

Alleva first

Don't want him anywhere around for a HC hire.

They both can go at the same time and it would make me happy.

What about this situation was a debacle and why do we blame Joe because Chavis is a self centered prick?

It's nice to see more fans stop accepting this increasing mediocrity from LSU football. That shows that people care about the direction of the program.

I think as more fans start demanding excellence, eventually Alleva/Miles will be between a rock and a hard place. To get with the program, or get out.

It's never a good sign watching fellow conference schools improve, while yours is on the brink of a decline.

We did not meet Chavis demand and he left for more money

Now Alleva won't pay enough to steal one

I upvoted this.
I hope Alleva is not the AD when/ if Miles retires or is forced out. I dont trust him to make a great head coach hiring.

Dont put Miles in the same sentence as Alleva. What ever you think of Miles , he just gave lsu its most successful 10 year stretch in our entire history. Alleva has done nothing but cower to the sec home office.

Alleva is a Dukie. His job was to resurrect basketball, which is happening. The side effect is he will f up the money making sports.

We let our DC, one of the best in the country, walk away to a divisional rival.

Additionally, it appears we're not willing to pay what is necessary to hire a top DC, otherwise Pendergast or Shoop would most likely already be in Baton Rouge.

Alleva would still be taking instructions from Krzyzewski had the lacrosse scandal never occurred at Duke. Instead, he's now damaging LSU's brand on a national stage.

So a coach was demanding just stupid money and contract clauses that no other assistant in the country is getting and the AD stood up to him, but you are calling this a debacle.

Love it. Then when the ticket prices keep going up along with parking prices, etc, people get pissed.

It does not take a rocket scientist to see the debacle.

Chavis given no ultimatum

Chavis allowed to coach bowl game

Assistants sign before the DC

Alleva and/or Miles allows Chavis to put LSU in this bad spot

Now Alleva won't pay to get some one else's DC

TOO LATE

If you don't keep up, you fall behind

Just check bama's recruiting budget

This dumbass AD pays a crappy non revenue producing women's basketball coach whose team isn't even in the top 25 750k and goes cheap on the most important hire on the football team that pays the bills for all the other sports. What a fricking idiot.

if you let your DC walk away, you have to go get one.

Alleva is 0-3 with 3 big strikeouts so far. We need to go get a DC.

Promoting your 8th choice from within is a fricking joke, and we all remember how well it worked in 2008.

Not giving Chavis a pass on the way he handled this, but you are blind if you can't see that Alleva is a complete joke.
