Bigger question... Which reputable OC is going to want to attach himself to a lame duck (and end up searching for a job again after 2026)?

I wouldn’t think that would be a bad thing. Potentially become interim HC and try to parlay that into a HC position.

But at the same time, if the OC is good enough to become the potential HC, then LSU will win enough to not get BK fired.

Doesn't matter who they get. Bk is done after next year anyway. Who in their right mind takes the job?

Kelly will get another year, must have a big name qb out of the portal, big name oc, and nil drag net of offensive lineman. If he loses two games he’s gone mid season.

It’ll probably be a good hire then he’ll break something else

Petrino would be an excellent OC get. He's the opposite of Sloan. Absolutely consumed with detail, precision, excellence on his offensive play design. Has very high standards for offensive players.

With all the open positions and big programs this year, I bet Arkansas gives Petrino another year before they move on.

I think they wanna go in a different direction but honestly Petrino isn't a bad coach and he's really good at putting an explosive offense out there. They'll ride it with him through next year at minimum.

The problem is who’s gonna come here knowing if they don’t win they’re likely looking for another job in a year, maybe two at most?
