Wish the kid well. During a period where the cb room was dire, he stepped up and never shorted you on effort. Unfortunately just didn’t have the athleticism or ball skills to be a starting boundary cb on an elite sec defense . Big 12 would be a great fit for him

Yes he only played first 3 games of the year & it was known late in the season that he was redshirting to hit the portal.
I guess he could have always changed his mind with new coach, but officially announced it now
