Did you contact the SEC offices during the LSU football academic scandal under Saban?

Emmert even met on LSU's behalf with the NCAA, which accepted LSU's findings. But after Emmert decided to leave LSU in 2004, a witness testified in a deposition that the instructor was telling the truth and that the problems were far more systemic than the school admitted, even extending to grades being changed for football players, according to court records.

But hey it was fine when he was your coach right?

that was 2000. LSU players were pointing to the big screen to prove it to the refs. No halo zone infraction called but hey the refs gave the ball back to LSU???

only way it will truly stop though.

Nice find. I recall that play. When you look at all the small things, it really adds up.

I took some classes with players. There's no way they'd need their grades changed for the ones I was in

If thats real, it's an outrage. More evidence of bias/CHEATING. Would love to see how the talking heads would explain that.

You and your POS type should probably not post here. This is a board for human beings. Gumps don't qualify. A female member of your family is yodeling or growling since they need to be pleasured. Why don't you spend time doing that inbred thing and leave the discussion to the adults.

They also get the benefit of any questionable call to go their way as well. I believe the Virginia Tech game had plenty.

I'd bet that 99% of everyone "complaining" in this thread would be fine if their team lost a game to bama as long as the game was a clean, well officiated contest. But nobody in this thread is happy about losing games to a team that always gets the benefit of the doubt with questionable calls.

I have two beefs:

1) What you quoted above. It isn't fun watching a team that SHOULD be better than everyone constantly need breaks to win. Then, when they lose (they've lost their most important regular season game like 9 years running now), they are given a pass. It is unreal.

2) Compromising player safety to keep Bama from suffering consequences every other team deals with. That sucks. See the UT QB as the latest example.

CFB is becoming the WWF in terms of predictability.

Shreveporter...

That is from the Florida game in 2011. That same ref negated Wing's TD. If memory served, someone found out his parents were Bama boosters. I could be wrong....

Funny, the 2014 Bama game was the last game I attended in person. I quit going to games after that obvious cheat job. I enjoy CFB, but I treat it like WWE.

I was sitting on the five yard line about 40 rows up that game. Everyone saw it. This is also where we had the PF call later. All BS.

We knew that game was going to be another "classic" with "Bama Magic" after we scored our first TD.

Most people don't remember, but in 2014 our first TD was initially ruled incomplete. It was an obvious catch by Dupre with BOTH feet in bounds. The two refs within five yards of the play both saw it (one in front and one behind Dupre) and both called it incomplete. Had it not been for replay, we would have been screwed again. Everyone in our section immediately started discussing what was going to happen later in the game. Sure enough, those same two BJs that night, and that same LJ, screwed LSU MULTIPLE times with the BS PF call, no PI calls, etc.

When we saw that replay on the Jumbotron and it was CLEAR BOTH REFS saw the obvious TD and still called in incomplete, well.....

Yeah, that game sent me on a "motivational poster" creation spree...

No it's not fun. It pisses me off to watch bama constantly get all the brakes, while the opposing team gets the short end of the stick. No matter who the opposing team is.

I don't like it when my "team" loses. That would include all the teams that LSU fields, the couple of teams I root for in the NFL and the California Angels in Major League Baseball. But if the game is a clean, well officiated game, and my team gets beat, there's not much to bitch about. Your team got beat by the better team that day.

But when the other team continually gets all the favorable calls, in critical times of the game, it drives me crazy.

As far as what you said about player safety in your post, in my opinion, that bama player that was throwing punches in the gif on page 3 of this thread, shouldn't just get kicked out of the game and serve a one game suspension, or one half of a game, that player should be suspended for the duration of the football season.

If the NCAA is going to have a rule about player safety, then by god enforce the fricking rule.

All sports are becoming harder and harder to watch in my opinion. If it's ins't LSU playing, or one of the pro teams I follow, I hardly ever turn a game on these days. Whereas from the mid seventies up until just a few years back, I always had games on my TV, whether I was watching the game or not.

That is incredible. Turns around looks at the first down marker and moves the ball over a yard forward from his spot.

Yes it was. Or it should have been. Just another example of bama getting breaks that they don't deserve and shouldn't need.
