I have been saying this along. I just want you guys to acknowledge that it's going to be a tough game. Seriously, if JJ goes shizo, it's Oregon's game

It is not going to be a tough game. You keep putting the emphasis on Jordan Jefferson as if he will have to beat your defense by himself.

LSU will have one of the best o-line's in the country. Consequently, LSU is going to line up and run the ball down Oregon's throats to the tune of 40 to 50 rushes in the opening game. Despite Oregon's and the media's love for LaMichael James, LSU's Spencer Ware is going to show why he is not only a Heisman candidate, but why he will be drafted in the first 5 picks of the NFL draft when he declares. Not only does he possess speed and elusiveness, but he has the power to run over and through the Oregon defense.

LSU is a worthy opponent, but has more speed?
Are you nuts?

Lol. You don't need to tell us about UO speed. We all heard/ saw that joke against AU.

Every time we talk about speed to people outside the SEC they talk about how absurdly fast their skilled players are. Guess what? Every team has fast skilled players. What sets the SEC apart is how fast are big men are. Not small and fast, but big strong and fast.

So sorry, ok, instead of props, I'll come back to gloat.

My post was only to advise of things that might make a difference for the Ducks in our game with you. I didn't predict a winner, and at this point, I can't call it.

If the Duck's new o-line learns how to work together quickly, then it will be lights out for the offense. If not... oh fudge.

I think Jefferson is the other key to the game. If he can pass accurately then the Ducks are in trouble. If he is a little off, then he will get picked often and the Ducks will just start stuffing the run. They will stuff the run when that is the priority. We are vulnerable to a good passer then, but if Jefferson isn't on, then your backs won't be going anywhere.

So it gets more fun if the Duck o-line gels and Jefferson is hitting his receivers accurately. I'm still thinking about what would happen then.

Have you ever been to Oregon? Beautiful place, great golf courses, weird arse people. I think every tree hugging, vegan, weird, liberal, freak from every town in America relocated to Oregon. On a recent trip there we were taking pics of people at walmart, we couldn't resist. Then we were staying in Salem, the capital, and I asked the lady at the front counter," isn't this the capital?" she said, "I have no clue." wierd people.

We have a large emigrant California population. Perhaps you were looking at people who immigrated from there.

Eugene has a few tree huggers, same with Portland, same with Deep Southern Oregon around Ashland. Other then that, it is pretty normal.

Oregon was a timber logging state until the liberals starting moving in here in droves in the 60's and 70's from San Fransisco. We try hard to keep them out, but the Californians keep coming and coming. I guess they think our State is the mecca of beautiful. What is a State to do? Put them in jail? Our late Governor put up a sign that read, "Californians, you are welcome to visit but please don't stay". So again, what are our options?

Agree with Bisonduck. It'll probably be close. Both teams are too good to get bulldozed. Lose the emotion and hype, and follow the Vegas line on this one. Tigahs win a squeaker. GEAUX

If tOSU had to go thru a sec schedule there is no way its top tier. You dont seem to understand there are no gimmes in the sec usually the teams are ranked and if not they are still not push overs. It is grueling and you have to have depth. Every team has speed and every team has depth.

You can't possibly believe this. So OSU has no speed? No depth? How come you SEC fans feel like their is no program outside your conference that plays great football? I used to hear this all the time about SC, its ludicrous. OSU was a dam good team last year, they beat an SEC team that beat your team bro.

You guys have lost your minds. When is the last time the SEC champion has lost it's bowl game?

Now how about the Big Ten? An 11-1 Mich State team last year got trashed by Bama, who had 3 SEC losses.

Wow tOSU beat arky. Arky may be on the rise but they still aren't even a big 6 school in the SEC.

How badly did Miss State beat Meeechigan? How badly did tOSU beat them? Well lets dive deeper

for clarification, I'm not saying the middle of the pack SEC are unbeatable...

10 AU BCSNC
09 Bama BCSNC
08 Fla BCSNC
07 LSU BCSNC
06 FLA BCSNC
05 I think Georgia was the SEC champs? And won the bowl game
04 Undefeated AU beats VT after being left out of the champ game
03 LSU BCSNC

need I continue? It is proven fact. The top of the SEC is >

Did you not pay attention to LSU at fricking all last year? Jordan Jefferson played shitty all fricking year. Much better run defenses than what Oregon possesses(WVU, Alabama, MSU, and even put up over a 100 on Auburn on the ground(which your vaunted rushing attack couldn't do)). Our backs saw 8 and 9 in the box every game and almost every down. But yet we still forced the ball down everyone's throat in route to winning 11 games.

Stopping our passing game isnt shite. Hell, most games we threw the ball 15 times anyway.

What do the previous games have to do with last years OSU team? You think Pryor and the others gave a shite about the 0-9 record? All I know is they beat the 2nd best team in your almighty unbeatable conference.

Wrong. That win was vacated...did not count.

tOSU has never beaten the SEC. 0-8.
