As the cousin of a former minor leaguer, I know this baseball team can pull it out

Listen, I’m not trying to brag about my cousin’s baseball career or anything, but I’ve seen this happen too many times. The team just starts to get down on themselves and believing that they are not able to overcome the adversity they are playing. I think that right now, we suck at every aspect of the game, but a lot of that is the mentality. We need to change the stupid entitled “poor me” mentality that this team is currently displaying and start performing like real men!

Oh listen, my cousin ended up making it into the majors briefly for the Mariners. I remember going to the game and he pinch hit and hit into a double play costing them a shot at the playoffs. Was immediately demoted again.

I was in an elevator with a former MLB player one time, he got off on the 4th floor and I continued on up to the 9th floor
I think that in addition to a rash of injuries to critical players, we have a roster full of former superstars who haven’t learned how to play together as a team yet and haven’t found out how to fill their roles on the squad
I could be wrong, who knows

Did you see the attempt pitchout in the 3rd last night? That is the season in a nutshell. We lack leadership and skill at very important positions to make any sort of significant run

Not sure why having a cousin playing minor league ball gives you any special insight. My wife's cousin plays major league ball and I don't know squat about baseball. But I do know when a team is playing together and when they have given up.
