I wish they would quit stringing us along so I can go ahead and plan my extra Fall hunting and fishing. Finding positive COVID-19 people has become some sick and gratifying game now. The more they find the better. It ain’t gonna stop anytime soon. Here’s to the outdoors this Fall!

The funny thing about it all is that they will be fine. Cough and low grade fever for about 2 weeks and that’s it! My whole damn family has had it. This country has gone completely insane!

"This country has gone completely insane!" Except for the 120,000 plus who have died and their families

Yeah until some football player(s) die because of it. Odds are it’s going to happen. But oh I was fine blah blah blah. You must hate math and science.

We’re talking about 18-22 yr olds here. How many of those have died?

In one province in Canada, the average age for the deceased from Covid-19 is 83. What does that tell you?

I am coming to grips that there will be a very seriously altered season or no season.

that you are using extreme situations not reflective of the current world or situation our football players are put in, and that this has no link to the LSU football program. If one athlete dies the ramifications will be incredibly. It will be a stain on the program that will nearly be impossible to shed. Its not about your average age. Its about the unique one-off situations..

We should test for common cold. We could all be killed if that gets out next. Lets go hide.

To add some context to the number. An average of about 100,000 Americans died each year of WW2. Covid deaths have exceeded that in 6 months. But, of course, most of those were old fat people, so it doesn't matter.

That's because someone asymptomatic who tested positive for Covid and committed suicide died from Covid and not suicide. The stats are being juiced to the max.

120K? You're sure of that number?

We just found out that the nursing home numbers are grossly exaggerated. LINK Likely, the rest of the numbers are, also.

Yep, I agree. The numbers have been inflated because they have to justify why they closed and ruined the economy for it.

Since I don't know you or your family, if you all died I guess that would be statistically negligible

Look, let's not stop with cancelling football over a virus. Thousands of people died in car accidents last year. We should IMMEDIATELY lower all speed limits to 5 mph in the interest of making life as safe as possible, yay!!!!

EVERYTHING about life involves risk. Any of us can die of anything at any time. This covid bs has been political from the jump. Anybody that fails to realize this is either stupid or not paying attention.

The players should be more worried about the flu than Covid since that virus actually kills people around their age.
