Used Miles’ accomplishments to stand up for him but now completely disregards O’s history both prior to and since taking over in Baton Rouge.
Only way to reconcile those two adverse positions in if he’s on the clock and just toeing the company line.

Then why are you contradicting yourself in this thread? At least this claim I quoted we can agree on.
My point was 9-3 or 8-4 was shitting the bed at LSU. If Les had made all the same stupid clock blunders and still been winning 10+ in the regular season, he would 100% still be the coach.

No of course not. Someone asked what exactly "shitting the bed" means and I answered IMO what it means to me. That is all.
Posting 8-4/9-3 is not shitting the bed. Losing games you should have in the bag or having inexcusable gaffs on the sideline that almost result in losses are what I would define as STB. You can STB and still win (Tenn 10)...that doesn't make what you did to get there any less stressful for fans or players alike. And you still fked up....you just happen to have things go your way and end up with the W.
The games you mentioned were in fact shitting the bed type situations for O that worked out.
Although in the Auburn game....I would say it was more of an Auburn STB situation that it was for us.

I can accept the OP's optimism, but
the only teams LSU "should lose to" are Alabama and at Auburn.
Alabama should be #1, and they've had our number.
Auburn is the defending West champ, and this has been a home-and-home series (although we've won there a fair bit, they're usually rebuilding when that happens).
Miami at a neutral site should be considered a tossup.
Honestly, Georgia at home should be too.
Road games at A&M and Florida should be considered "dangerous", but probably about like for Alabama having to play us here- we "could" win, but we're expected to lose. Same thing applies there- we "could" lose, but we should win.
