re: As great as his 2019 was, Joe’s run vs UGA ‘18 is still my favorite LSU play in years

Agree with OP - I was just thinking about this scamper of Joe’s in the UGA game just this week and pulled it up to re-watch it in all its glory. Definitely one of his under appreciated defining moments.

Losing to Florida and then the *gasp* Aggies was much worse and more disheartening than the Bama blowout. Bama was thought to be unbeatable that year, and they were until they met Clemson.

It didn't help that the Bama defense took the "Free Devin White" hysteria quite personally.

Having a QB who can run is a game changer

I was absolutely hammered by the end of that game. Very loud, very obnoxious, and had my in laws over (Aggie fans). Good day.

30,000 UGA fans attended that game just to see their team get steamrolled.

Hope Cincy keeps him healthy, and he lights it up this season. LIGHTS it up.

My favorite Joe play was the one he got DESTROYED on by that lineman in the UCF game
I believe this play told the whole team, state and world to hold my fricking beer.

One of the best games in college ball in 50 years and maybe best home performance against a Top 5 team in program history.

For me is was his scramble and deep throw to Jefferson against UGA in 2019 SECCG. He changed directions twice and juked the linemen and then threw a 50 yard dart to Jefferson. That play was incredible and sealed the Heisman for him (as if there was much doubt before).

Making fricking Gary ask "Can you have two Heisman moments in a season?"

3rd and 17 changed the course of this program for decades.

3rd and 17 was definitely the beginning.

But my most memorable feeling during that entire season was when we went up 33-13 on Bama before the half. After cheering me and my dad looked at each other stunned like, is this happening?

Hot take guy. Nothing gets people talking like a hot take.

Let me guess, you also think 2019 wasn’t even our best team all time?
