The fact that our fans don’t laugh at the notion of Kiffin is a depressing reflection on the fanbase. He’s immature and makes horrible in game decisions. He’s been fired multiple times, each time leaving a dumpster fire. He would absolutely implode that program and it would be glorious.

Really wouldn’t want to see Norvell there. I think he is a good coach and would do well at Bama. But the fact his team got bumped out of the playoffs by Bama, rightly or wrongly, would make his defection to Bama seem especially onerous. I think the Florida Stste fans would never forgive him for that. I don’t think he’ll make the move if offered but I think he would be a good hire for them.

He would implode Bama AND Ole Miss if he left. From an LSU standpoint, it would be the best hire the Gumps could make.

Saban let him go because Kiffin had already accepted a head coaching position elsewhere. He didn’t want to go into a national championship game with a coach whose mind would not be there 100%

Don’t care. No one will keep them at Sabans level.
Whoever they hire will be successful, just not at the rate of Saban.

That’s why none of the other guys scare me. They won’t be there in 5 years.
Lane has the best shot at success but also is beneficial to lsu because it hurts ole miss.
There is no bad option for lsu lol
