As an LSU fan, I have sympathy for Saban, because it’s the same with Jayden Daniels

LSU fans may not want to look at it that way, but both could feel they’ve been robbed to a degree of being in the playoffs. As for as by who, when it comes to Daniels, I don’t really care to discuss it. That’s for Coach Kelly to determine and correct for LSU’s next player of the year.

Guess what? I don’t care that you don’t care. I care more about LSU, and making my point clear. I expect next year to be different as far as how much this LSU defense improves. Kelly knows it has to, too.

Saban is the coach and gets the credit and blame for the entire team.
Daniels is the QB, and has pretty much zero control over the defense.
Daniels got robbed.
Saban got beat.

Both performed at their best this season. And it’s not even a debate. Coach of the year and player of the year. And if you think differently, your needs are plenty upstairs in that cranium.

Eli Drinkwitz has already been named SEC coach of the year by USA Today and is the favorite to win it pretty much across the board.
