My college roommate liked Toonces. He was from Austin and is 1st generation LSU though so that may explain it. But still

Wow, it is a tough question because I have a few...

I would say it is the over-the-top "fans" that are mean and obnoxious to opponents fans, then during the game are jumping up and down yelling at all the fans around them that aren't as "supportive" as they are.

This. I hate to have to say it, but we have some fans who could use a lesson in politeness and civility. No need to be a frickin' douchenozzle, especially when you win.

Or, some people that act like elitist assholes because they were fortunate enough to be able to. Just because I went to another university, in another state, that doesn't diminish my "fandom". I guarantee Tram Von Nguyen is not a more deserving fan because he went there. Probably never attended a game. Go to a Ga Tech game, you'll see what I'm talking about.

A few middle age couples were sitting behind me last week and they just found a way to bitch about everything. We ran too much, we throw too much, so and so isn't playing enough...I mean frick. You would have thought we were getting blown out or something.

One of the older guys (65 or so) was complaining about Anthony Johnson not playing, when he was actually in the play going on. The idiot didn't know he had switched numbers in the offseason.

If you're going to complain, at least get a clue first.

I don't have a problem with anyone who didn't go to LSU supporting the tigers in a positive way. There are just a lot of trashy people that didn't go to college anywhere in general and don't know how to act when they come to tailgate. As long as you're respectful and represent LSU in a positive way I don't care who you are. It definitely does not help the LSU degree when we have such a negative reputation as football fans.

You mean like this older guy (50s) that im currently working with who starts complaining about Miles not putting in Lee against Bama, then proceeds to ask me who Tyrann Mathieu was and what number was he when he got suspended? Or asks me the name of our QB this year? You mean people like that? If so, then I also hate that

I understand your sentiment. Every team has that element of "pickup truck alums". BAMA is prob the best representation of that. Living here in Ga, I'm surrounded by it. I have many a friend that didn't attend UGA, but are extremely knowledgeable, as are many on this board. We non-alums also buy tickets, merchandise and try to help fill the stadiums. Hell, we have tv and radio commercials advertising Ga Tech season tickets.

1) "FANS" THAT BOO OUR PLAYERS AT THE GAME OR BASH THEM ON THE INTERNET

2) "FANS" THAT ARE SO NEGATIVE THAT THEY HOPE LSU LOSES SO THAT THEY CAN PREACH ABOUT HOW MUCH WE SUCK.

ETA) 3) FANS THAT TYPE IN ALL CAPS

I hate the judgmental self proclaimed "super" fan..
The one who gripes that people leave early, don't stand up, don't make enough noise or sold their tickets to opposing fans etc.
Give it a rest...no one cares how you compare to other fans...
You have no right to judge other people since you don't know their circumstances or what they have going on...
I didn't even know these a-holes existed until I got on this site...

Stupid assholes that want to bitch for standing. Listen if you want to sit, sit your lazy arse at home. I Just drove 8 hours and spent a few hundred dollars in gas to watch my team play. You goddam right i am going to make some noise. I am going to yell for me and your lazy arse. The thing that bothers me is tiger fans sitting on their hands. You have no clue what an honor it is to be there taking a game in help our boys out! They feed off the crowd noise and it inspires them to play hard! You can call me a superfan if you want to but if your not going to add to the atmosphere and provide a home field advantage, stay at the tailgate and give your tickets to a young passionate fan who wants to be a part of the experience. Dont look at me because it's 3 rd and long and I am yelling my arse off. It'sy obligation. It should be printed on the ticket!

On all 3 rd downs for the opposing team you ate obligated to stand up and make as much noise as possible. Spell it out for people.

People that pick a favorite player for each position and rip others who may be getting more playing time than their guy.

The fans most ignorant of the game of football tend to be the most opinionated.

Fans whose love for certain players is directly related to how many stars the kid had in high school recruiting.

No harm, brah. I'm prob a little sensitive to a lot of the "I went there" snobs you sometimes run across. I'm a college educated, Louisiana native. I am and will always be a tiger fan till the day I die. All that matters is that most of us on this board have the same passion, or we wouldnt be here.
