If I was LSU officials, I’d hold off as long as I possibly could with Wade at the helm and force the NCAA to get rid of him themselves. Other coaches named in the ongoing FBI saga such as Sean Miller of Arizona and Bill Self of Kansas haven’t been touched and it’s unlikely that something happens to either. So why should the Tigers can Wade beforehand?

Honestly, there's a high probability that there will not even be an NCAA investigation. Unless forced, this is not something they want to open up.

So embarrassing that we actually suspended Will Wade because of outside pressure. What a joke.

The problem is our fearless leaders have painted themselves into a corner. They have to fire wade to justify their actions.

LSU administration only takes their marching orders from The Advocate. I suspect they'll be putting out an article soon that LSU should cut ties with CWW. And then LSU will do it because they're huge cucks

Exactly. His suspension looks more ridiculous with everyday that passes. I have full faith Alleva will continue to frick up this entire quagmire he created.

With each passing day, I get a growing feeling that this will all blow over and Wade will be reinstated.

The worst part about all of this is recruiting. Basically no chance to land the 2 guys Wade was targeting. That hurts.

The good news is, if they fire Wade the problem only gets worse especially in terms of losing money...like 10s of millions of dollars in money lost due to contract buy outs, lack of donations from pissed off fans and most of all lost revenue from a losing basketball program.

That is a big incentive for the admin to mend fences.

And he’s highly unlikely to ever be in this position ever again

Having a spineless administration is like pissing in the wind. You can’t call yourself an LSU and support this administration.

If I was hiring a basketball coach, I'd hold off until the Dawkins thing was completely done. You never know whose name is going to come up in a month or two out of this ordeal.

No judgement on content, but that is a poorly written article.

If this passes over they will each individually say:
we did what we had to do at the time with the facts we had.

it will be a strained relationship, but winning cures all.

That article also kinda backs the move to suspend WW when it says:
quote:

They bought themselves some time by taking him out the rest of this season and can wait out the clock in the next few months. If nothing noteworthy happens, the Tigers will be fine in keeping their head coach.
