Yeah Lee had 97. I switched up the numbers on accident, but the point still remains. We wear teams out with our run game I'm second halves. We don't rely on our QBs to win games just not lose them.

For whatever reason Miles has a hard-on for Jefferson....always has and always will. Thankfully ,one more game and this crap is over.

Either JL has been treated fairly or he hasn't

He has been treated exactly the way the back up quarterback is supposed to be treated. He came in for the starter, who was out, played VERY well, then went back to backing up the starter.

Just think, you retards can look back on this season after we win the BCS and finish 14-0. Yep, we were stomping the frick out of everyone on the field an the whole while I was whining like a bitch about the backup QB. Goo morons!

It is people like you that really ruin this site. People are giving their opinions and you call them retards and morons. Opinions varying and this should be a site for all, not just the ones that show Miles in nothing but a good light. You think you know it all, but you don't, no one does. Yes, we are 13-0 and it is a glorious thing, but we can still have open discussions about anything related to LSU.

You can call me all the names you want, I really don't care. And I don't favor one QB over another, I'm just simply saying the easiest way to put 'the controversy' to rest is to just come out and tell the truth why, and end it.

Miles prolongs most of the controversy that goes on about the team and amongst the fans by not coming clean with answers. He actually adds to the controversy.

Do you think Miles is above being questioned?

To some on here,as long as we are winning, Sandusky would be above question.

If only he were young and played quarterback.

who here wanted Lee to come in the 2nd half of the SECCG?
I did, I was at the game and saw what was happening. I have never been a big JLEE fan, but he has EARNED the right to play more than a kneel down in a blowout game that we had control of in the first minute of the 3rd quarter. It was just baffling.

But according to Miles from last year to this year, we have a 2 QB system, which since after the Bama game has gone away. He is the head coach and the decisions rest with him, but we can all have an opinion on the matter.

Anybody ever hear the status update for JL that Derrick ponamski put out yesterday?

I made a thread aobut it but it was anchored.
Bayou bengals insider supposedly had the story.

JL is eligible for the BCSCG and may graduate before the game is played based on one course

Miles has been the head coach for not only the first half of the season, but the entire season. He has performed admirably with a coaching efficiency record of 13-0.

Why should he be second team to one of the worst sportswriters in the country and a few fans with questionable motives?

I can't think of another situation when a player has played so well and been benched. Especially at the QB position. It just makes no sense.

This.

For those arguing about JLee not seeing ANY playing time in the last few games, answer this question:
Name one player that has started at his position for 8 consectutive wins, and then after one bad game had his playing time effectively eliminated? I'm not talking about starting, I'm talking about any meaningful playing time.

Go.

What answer is that? I must have missed it.

He's up there with Finebaum in terms of genius. Why should he research or actually write a good article?

All he has to do is take a dump each day, put it on paper and let the retards circulate it for him. I wish I had his job.

The first pick was a really bad decision (rushed after the bad snap). The second pick was just as bad. It was clear the Lee was struggling and time for Jefferson to see what he could do.

Besides hindsight, what makes your two conclusions different? Thats the biggest problem I have.

Everyone seems to base their "side" of this issue with the outcome. Without hindsight, why was it correct to put Jefferson in after Lee threw two picks in the Bama game, but played like shite the entire first half of the GA game? Why wasnt JJ pulled after the safety in the WKY game?

Hindsight is great. I dont care who plays and when, I just wonder at what point does Les not make the correct decision to stick with JJ?

We do have a 2QB sysytem, a starter and a backup who spells him when necessary.

This subject has gone waaaay beyond discussion. It's a whine fest. Whine whine whine. Bitch bitch bitch.

It's not debating the 3-4 or 4-3 defense. It's not speculating on how we are gonna handle Richardson in the championship game. It's whining and moaning about the same old thing.

I've been an Lsu fan since the mid 70s and this is the lowest our fans have stooped. Lower than when we sucked in the Hallman era. Spoiled rotten pussies, we don't deserve this success.

Or at least the issue of "fairness" is complex. In the end, the coach's duty is to choose the best guy for the job

Most will agree, but really, in the UGA game JJ was the best? I think Tbob could have played QB as well.

JL played well all year, except for bama, to think that he was not worth trying in the UGA game was surprising to say the least.
