I wanted to see him late in the 2nd quarter.

Definitely. It was obvious that Lee was rushing everything.

at the "sources" Guilbeau uses for his article:

1) an email someone sent him
2) a story he saw while watching the local news
3) a letter to the editor written to another newspaper

Real Pulitzer worthy investigation there Glen.

When everyone wanted Flynn over JR, he stuck with JR. When everyone wanted RP over Flynn, he stuck with Flynn. When everyone wanted JJ over Lee, he stuck with Lee. Now when he sees JJ as a definite advantage over Lee, despite a howling from everyone watching screaming for Lee. He sticks with JJ. So i don't see him being affected by the politics of the tiger nation.

Les loves a running QB. We have two very average QBs. Les is always going to play the average QB that can run over the average QB that can't. Period.

You are missing the point.

I was explaining why his "justified" logic was pulled out of his arse.

Question for everyone: Do you think Miles is above being questioned?

Do you think constant bitching and accusing Miles of holding Lee out for selfish non-football reasons equals questioning?

So what you are saying is that "win at all costs" and "don't care who you hurt to get there" is okay? Same thing that is part of the problem in our society today. It's okay to steal as long as no one sees you, hit and run is fine as long as you don't get caught. There are some standards people used to live by that are slowly seeping away from society that are definitely not making us a better people. Another is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Someone a little smarter than us said that a few years ago. I think some people are a little upset with the actual treatment without a valid explanation.

Unbelievable.

If you're results oriented, he's handled it just fine. What's your point?

Its not about the result on the field. Either QB can win with this team, its obvious. I can't think of another situation when a player has played so well and been benched. Especially at the QB position. It just makes no sense.

I did. JJ was off his game, big time.

I did. After Hightower popped him, he was shaken.

It appears to make sense to the guy who is paid to make the decisions and whose career is on the line. That's good enough for me.

According to some Rantards in this article.
WTH is wrong with some of you people? LSU wins the sec, is 13-0, and about to complete the most dominant season in the history. Yet, our fanbase will find a way to complain. Deal with it. I don't care either way who plays, as long as we win. And once again, shame on GG for the articles he writes.

So, if we were not as successful as we have been then Lee would have been treated wrong?

Either JL has been treated fairly or he hasn't. The record has no bearing on that fact.

I think there were some good points in the article. I am sure that were JL your son you would feel differently.

Because the fan base spends money on season tickets, gear and put money into the university. How do you think the School can afford to pay Les what he makes! TARD

If its not about the results and either QB can win then why continue to bitch when our coach goes with who he feels is better.

Just think, you retards can look back on this season after we win the BCS and finish 14-0. Yep, we were stomping the frick out of everyone on the field an the whole while I was whining like a bitch about the backup QB. Goo morons!

I give LSU a <30% chance of beating Bama with Lee at QB.

I actually wanted to see Lee in the 1st half of the SECCG. Once the defense took over early in the 2nd half, I was content with JJ at the helm, but would have liked to seen Lee once LSU was up big and in control.

quote:

The first pick was a really bad decision (rushed after the bad snap). The second pick was just as bad. It was clear the Lee was struggling and time for Jefferson to see what he could do.

It's not that simple. No, really, it isn't. The concept of "fairness" in choosing a starter in big time football is almost inapplicable. Or at least the issue of "fairness" is complex. In the end, the coach's duty is to choose the best guy for the job. Who the hell can judge what was "fair"?

TV money

That's a good point, but it still comes back to fans. LSU would not get the television money if the fans did not give the stations the ratings
