Another blowout today and I think it’s the beginning of the end for McMahon

I think last year's SEC performance was the beginning of the end; this season was a chance for redemption. If he gets blown out today, I don't see a clear path to any sort of redemption, short of a Cinderella run in the SEC.

Tyrell ward that was a 4 star and transferred to Vcu and avg 5.3 pts?
And Damion Collins that transferred from Kentucky to lsu to USF and avg 5 pts? If these guys were so good they would’ve landed at major programs.

You’re predictably deflecting of course. Your statement was false, narrative false and loaded question answered so you’re moving the goalpost. I’ll humor you anyway because your logic is also faulty. Collins was at Kentucky so other “big time programs” not only wajt d him but got him, he was the number 12 ranked player in his class. Was a productive player when given minutes here.

Ward was a 5* recruit, who was recruited by Florida, Maryland and Georgetown along with us
LINK

Was productive and efficient when given minutes here… 10.7ppg, 41.7% on 3s as a starter his soph year after sitting almost all of his freshman season. If you actually watched LSU basketball you’d already know this.

Pretty evident that McMahon wasted both players which has been the case with almost every player who’s been here during his tenure.

Don’t look at lsu page. Go look at recruiting services pages. Ward was a 4 star when lsu signed him. Collins was a 4 star when lsu signed him out the portal. I’m talking about no big school wanted them out the portal. So if ward was avg 10.9 pts at lsu, seem McMahon was getting more out of him.

lol now you’re gonna argue sources and play semantics with portal rankings that are completely irrelevant to recruiting rankings. Both were 5* recruits, no amount of spin changes that. This constant application of double standards and redefining things to excuse losing has never been done before here and doesn’t go on anywhere else.

It won't be blowout but they may lose tonight.

The only reason Curley Hallman won at Southern Miss was because of Brett Favre. You really missed the boat on your hypothesis. Sometimes a great player can make the difference between winning and losing. Curley, without Favre, was plain awful.
