Skenes with the swagger after the last 2 k's
smirked after going 4 straight offspeed and blowing a fastball by their 8 hitter
then shrugs to Neal after the 9 hole K's looking

To be fair, he was their Sunday guy that got moved up due to injuries
And he wouldnt have even been starting on Sundays to kick off the year if Jaxon Wiggins never got hurt.

pearson leading off and jobert playing were 2 questionable at best choices.
I was surprised they’re both in there for sure.

i know kling had a rough weekend last weekend but hes still easily the best choice of those 3 especially vs left
Is he? A lot of young RH hitters have problems with good LH pitching. Because they just haven’t seen it as much. I’d definitely have Pearson in there over him right now the way he’s been going. He has a really good approach against lefties. Doesn’t pull off. Kling will be back out there every day soon enough.

Van Horn has a great eye for talent. He’s just a choke artist.
Van Horn doesn't know who they're recruiting until they get to campus.

Lynn Rollins is rubbing off on Big Ben and im here for it
Offshore and working nights. Decided I didn’t want to miss Skenes throwing and I’m glad I did.
That being said, the fact that Big Ben is channeling his inner Lyn, has been the highlight

Neal is stupid. Four straight balls, he swings at first pitch and pulls a Jobert.

I’d like to see us work the counts a bit more.
Posted on 3/24/23 at 12:41 pm to ProjectP2294
Maybe don’t swing at the first pitch?

Strike 2 was at his chin.

I guess the clock resets if you make a throw to 1st no matter how soft you lob it over. I thought the rule had something about a "reasonable attempt" at a pickoff.

I understand Neal jumping on that first pitch as a freshman. He is sitting fastball and got it. Just missed his swing.
Jobert needs to be better

Good at bat here by Pearson

Pearson was guessing pretty hard on those last few pitches
