What was Carter’s pitch count this weekend coming into today? 24 pitches in that last inning.

That’s the sign of a shitty coach only being able to get guys focused when they play good teams.

I was hoping they'd make the tourney and keep him but there's no shot of that happening now. Gonna be one and done for the players pick.

At least a robo zone will be fair both ways.

That ump literally just called ball 1 and strike 1 on the same pitch from Shores

Milam's struggles at the plate are real this year. He's falling behind every at bat.

Name me a SS you would take over him.

It’s gonna be hilarious to watch you guys bitch when you have to watch college pitchers throw against a robo-ump zone because y’all bitched so much about real umpires

If anything I’ve found the robo umps seem to be more generous than humans.

Sure. If it's legitimate.

Not some umpire moving the zone around at his whim. Because he can or because he wants to influence the game somehow.

He been slumping too damn long, Steven Milam needs to wake up and get hot these games. He been not doing anything forever

He had a key hit in our rally Friday night and a HR in his first AB today. But go on with your nonsense.

We have walks now

I would just rather them happen when the ball is outside the strike zone

maybe the challenge system is the compromise but I dint get pretending human error is a good thing

He looks so bad vs lefties, though.

I would like to see the splits. The drop off can’t be bad enough to close these gaps.

Batting average with runners in scoring position
.404 Brown
.233 Pearson
The gap would be bigger in SEC play but that isn’t available online. Pearson has only had 1 basehit with RISP in SEC play and hit was a bunt single.

RBIs in SEC play
22 Brown
6 Pearson
Same amount of ABs

I can’t imagine arguing against a consistent strike zone whether it’s broader or narrower. The pitchers will just have to hit their spots.

bot 4, Stanfield leading off

strike, 0-1
low & away, 1-1
low, 2-1
low & in, 3-1
tight, walk!

If all 4 ball calls are accurate, what's the issue? Are you saying college pitchers can't throw strikes or batters will stop swinging? The zone will be the exact same every pitch every inning every game so pitchers will always know where the spot is and it won't move. What's the problem?
